Promenade Retail & Office

We have revitalized buildings along the newly designed 3^rd street Promenade, helping to create a walk-able entertainment center using large retail display areas with inviting lighting. The Promenade Passageway was the first building to bridge the parking structure through an on-grade passageway to the Promenade. Facades removed, renovated, and uncovered opened up with new retailers such as the Midnight Special Bookstore. The Oakes team had fun creating desirable office spaces that are home to innovative companies such as Hamagami & Caroll. Oakes Architects maintained an office on the Promenade for ten years, before expanding to the Helm’s Bakery complex.
